Yas Island Rotana has good facilities and excellent proximity to the best tourist attractions in the city. Yas Links Golf Club, Yas Marina, Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, Yas Waterworld, Yas Mall and Yas Beach which makes it an attractive destination for stay during F1 weekend. The hotel is 10 minutes away from the Abu Dhabi International Airport, 20 minutes to the Abu Dhabi Business district and 40 minutes from Dubai.
It took us around 50 minutes to reach the hotel and we found the lovely Carine Joun (Director of Marketing & Communications) waiting for us, with her usual kind smile, to assist us for check in and getting all the necessary information for our stay.
The check in was smooth as the staff were friendly and very professional while they assisted us to our room. The 308 spacious rooms and suites are designed with international flair to suit guests seeking privacy, personalised service and unparalleled quality. Selected rooms have Marina and Yas Circuit views and our room was one of them.
Our premium room was spread on a 35 sqm area with a private balcony and a stunning view of the Yas Marina Circuit. The room was light and airy with modern furnishings. Facilities include a complimentary high speed Internet connection, daily housekeeping service with evening turndown, room amenities such as fully stocked mini-bar, personal in-room safe, tea & coffee making facilities enhance every room to offer continuous moments of delight. There is a tennis court and spa at the property.

Choices International buffet
Choices restaurant offers a total food experience featuring a wide variety of ethnic cuisine, both Asian and International, prepared by our talented chefs. The food is as fresh as it comes. Choices buffets and theme nights are a perfect place to enjoy with friends, family, colleagues and business partners. The dessert buffet is a focal point of the restaurant, serving a large selection of modern and traditional pastries, pies, tarts and cakes.
No matter if you are craving for fresh seafood, spicy TexMex, exotic curries, traditional British dishes or Asian delicacies – Choices has it all. We used the restaurant for breakfast and were surprised at the big variety available.

Thursday to Saturday Seafood Night Enjoy a selection of seafood, shellfish and a beautifully crafted sushi corner.
Sunday TexMex Night A night of cultural of fusion with the best fajitas, tacos, and black b beans in town.
Monday Curry Night The taste of India, in both its most traditional and contemporary flavours.
Tuesday British Night An evening of authentic Beef Wellington, Fish & Chips and Shepherd’s Pie.
Wednesday Asian Night From Chinese to Southeast Asian specialties, this night embraces enough flavours to satisfy any palate.
The Friday brunch was amazing and the staff were great with a special mention of Sameer Mhate the restaurant manager who was kind and attentive to all our needs and Chef Anas who prepared a delicious variety of the arabic food. The prices for the brunch vary from 210AED including soft drinks to 302AED including alcoholic drinks.
Aquarius Pool Bar
Aquarius is conveniently located on the ground floor overlooking the tropical landscaping. Enjoy a light lunch from our wide selection of trendy salads, paninis and sandwiches, specially created by our resident chef. Refreshing cocktails await you at the swim-up bar while you enjoy a relaxing dip in the pool, or relish in our selection of fresh fruit smoothies, chilled juices and creamy frappes.
Rangoli Indian Cuisine
Rangoli is a lifestyle restaurant serving North and South Indian cuisine in a contemporary setting, complemented with a modern presentation and an extensive wine and beverage list. Mingled with the tinkling and jingling of chic tableware, the freshly cooked dishes from the Tandoor and the aroma from the Show Kitchen will transport you to a faraway location. Rangoli’s perfect combination of luxury and simplicity will leave you with a feeling of warmth, underlined by the use of earthy colours typical and characteristic of this exotic destination.
Blue Grill Steakhouse
Blue Grill Steakhouse offers trendy, fine-dining cuisine in a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. Hearty steaks of US and Australian Prime Angus Beef are the stars of this restaurant, with choice cuts and more all char-grilled to order, guaranteed to satisfy even the biggest of appetites. A choice of fresh seafood and appetizers will also be on offer for the non meat lovers. The wine display cellar features a wide selection of New and Old World Wines to complement every offering on the menu.

This happening spot is the place to go for late night drinks and ultra cool vibes. And let’s not forget the sports fanatics – it’s the ideal place to take in and discuss the world’s latest international sporting events. Y bar provides the perfect free-time destination any night or any day of the week.
Island Café
Meet and greet in this ideal rendezvous point, or enjoy and watch the world go by in this elegant surrounding while enjoying this informal lounge and snack bar. The Island Café is as cosmopolitan as its guests, with a unique menu to match. A wide selection of snacks and beverages, specialty coffees, fresh juices, selected teas and mouth-watering desserts are served throughout the day.
Our overall experience was great. Yas Island Rotana offers five star service whether in cleanliness,quality of food and service. It is great both for family and business stays. It has all the facilities a businessman is looking for and everything a family needs to entertain the kids. It’s no wonder for Rotana as they always strive for the best. Great location, great service, great hospitality. We will definitely go back again.
